Meagan Dakota Grunwald helped to murder Utah County sheriff's Sgt. Cory Wride and shot and grievously injured Deputy Greg Sherwood, when she was just 17 years old. Meagan had a love afire with Jose Angel Garcia-Jauregui, who was much older than her (Miller, 2015). Wride was directed to stop truck of Meagan and Garcia-Jauregui and asked their names, they told false names. Meagan alleged that Wride asked to show their patrol license, at that time Garcia-Jauregui shoot Wride and killed him and pressurized Meagan to drove the truck otherwise he killed her and her family, and Meagan drove the truck and flew away from there (Miller, 2015).
